Der Chor erarbeitet sich ein vielseitiges Repertoire zwischen neuer Musik, Tradition und Experiment. Altes wird neutönerisch angereichert, oder Neues wird an Komponisten in Auftrag gegeben, um neue Möglichkeiten des phänomenologischen Obertongesangs im Chorklang auszuloten. Der Chor Partial will die Faszination dieser noch jungen chorischen Gesangsdisziplin in künstlerischen Projekten erkunden und einer breiteren Öffentlichkeit näher bringen.
Von Klanghöhen und Berglauten. Einkehren in den Alpen, durch schroffe Täler und ihren Widerhall, übers Joch mit einem entfesselten Juutz oder ins Berggasthaus mit geselligem Lied. Der Chor «Partial» beschwört in seinem Programm klingende Findlinge und vergessene Rufe zwischen Tradition und Experiment. In Verbindung mit der Technik des Obertongesangs schafft er dabei seine ganz eigene Vorstellung von klanglicher Vielfalt im Chorgesang.
Sängerinnen und Sänger aus der ganzen Schweiz und Deutschland haben sich in der Faszination und Leidenschaft zum Obertongesang gefunden, um diese noch junge chorische Gesangsdisziplin in ihren Projekten zu erkunden und erklingen zu lassen.
Für die Projekte können sich SängerInnen bewerben. Sie werden angekündigt und ausgeschrieben.

The Choir develops a varied repertoire between new music, tradition and experiment. The old is enriched with new tones, or the new is commissioned to composers in order to explore new possibilities of phenomenological overtone singing in the choral sound. The Partial choir wants to explore the fascination of this still young choral singing discipline in artistic projects and bring it closer to a wider public.
From mountain heights and mountain sounds. Stopping off in the Alps, through rugged valleys and their echoes, over the yoke with an unleashed Juutz or in the mountain inn with a sociable song. The choir “Partial” conjures up sounding boulders and forgotten calls between tradition and experiment. In connection with the technique of overtone singing, he creates his very own idea of tonal diversity in choral singing.
Singers from all over Switzerland and Germany have found each other in the fascination and passion for overtone singing in order to explore this still young choral singing discipline in their projects and let it be heard.
